RIVERSIDE AQUATICS COMPLEX

The Riverside Aquatics Complex (RAC) is recognized as one of the top aquatic facilities in the nation. When combined with other pools throughout Riverside, the facilities are able to host major aquatic events in swimming, water polo, diving, and artistic swimming.

The bulkhead allows simultaneous uses and enhances training and competition opportunities. Two 3-meter and two 1-meter boards will flank a diving tower equipped with 3, 5, 7.5, and 10 meter platforms. Permanent grandstands accommodate 500 fans, and the facilities are accessible for individuals with disabilities. Individual team locker rooms and coaching offices are housed in a new building. The two existing Cutter pools serve as practice, warmup, and water education facilities, along with the existing building, which house a classroom, public restrooms, and changing areas.

Oak Quarry is a thrilling, 18-hole, 72-par championship golf course. The California Golf Course Owners Association (CG-COA’s) 2011 Course of the Year winds through the picturesque jagged terrain of the historical Jensen Quarry. Since opening in 2000, this unparalleled course has received many awards including “Best Course Inland Southern California,” “Hole #14 rated Best Par 3 in Southern California,” and “Hole #4 Prettiest Par 4.” Oak Quarry Golf Course is a Public Course and will host outside tournaments.

35-acre state-of-the-art Sports Park Agricultural heritage themed architecture, including farmhouse style Restroom/concession buildings, shade structures, citrus estate entry monuments and citrus tree plantings around the perimeter of the project. The sports park features three lighted ballfields (including Two Baseball Fields and one Softball Field) with overlay soccer/football fields; four lighted multipurpose soccer/football fields; two lighted basketball court and 300 onsite parking spaces, neighborhood park within the sports park that incorporates picnic areas, playgrounds, and waterplay area.

Samuel C. Evans Complex Offers:

The Samuel C. Evans Complex is located across Magnolia Avenue from the College itself. The complex was refurbished in a joint effort between the Riverside Community College District, the city of Riverside, and the Tiger Backers, a support group of the College.

Their combined efforts have left the College and the city of Riverside with an outstanding baseball/softball facility. The $1 million-plus project bolstered the College's softball and baseball programs. “It is, without a doubt, one of the finest facilities in Southern California," Softball Coach Michelle Daddona said.

The complex has three times hosted the California Community Colleges State Softball Championships.

"The facility provides our players with the right atmosphere needed to be successful," Baseball Coach Dennis Rogers said. "First, a player wants to play in a quality program, but the same player also wants to play in a quality environment. And this complex provides just that.”
